Position Summary
The Recruiting Assistant, under the direction of the Recruiting Coordinator, is responsible for providing administrative support for the undergraduate associate and program in the New York office. Primary responsibilities include maintaining the recruiting database, assisting with planning and executing events, and providing additional support to the recruiting team.


Job Responsibilities

* Maintain the recruiting database

* Enter all resumes received in database

* Capture and update all relevant and pertinent information for candidate files

* Maintain the calendar of recruiting events

* Remind participants of scheduled presentations, dinners, and information sessions, first and final round interviews

* Maintain RSVP lists for consultants and candidates

* Prepare materials for marketing and interview events

* Interviewer packets, candidate packets, and summit information

* Assist in other administrative tasks regarding recruiting events as necessary

* Respond to student inquiries

* Correspond to candidates regarding interviews, decisions, etc.

* Handle phone and e-mail inquiries from students

* Assist with implementation of the summer programs

* Social and training events

* Support summer consultants

* Maintain proactive role with selected schools

* Integrate BCG recruiting initiatives into schools marketing and advertising programs

* Liaison between BCG, the school, and students

* Attend marketing presentations; provide support at on-campus interview events

* Coordinate offeree weekends and sell days for offerees

* Content-based and social events (both group and individual)

* Other miscellaneous duties

* Develop strong relationship with campus Career Services Account Managers

* Provide administrative support to team, including Recruiting Directors, Recruiting Coordinator and School Specialists

* Schedule interviews for both campus and non-core school candidates

* Manage logistics, set up and attend day or evening recruiting events (such as presentations, receptions and dinners)

* Produce PowerPoint presentations, reports, and other documents

* Other special office projects as necessary

Basic Job Requirements

* BA/BS degree required

* Up to 3 years office experience; recruiting experience preferred

* Computer proficiency: Windows applications (Microsoft Word, Excel; PowerPoint; Access familiarity)
