Recruitment Assistant

The Rockefeller University, a leading biomedical research institute, seeks a Recruitment Assistant to join Clinical Research Office. Will assist the office and the Clinical Research Officer with recruitment activities for the Center for Clinical and Translational Science. Responsibilities include assisting the Recruitment Specialist in hosting the central research recruitment core for Hospital investigators, including strategy/design of recruiting plans, placement of ads, and hosting events for study recruitment. Will call back volunteers daily, explain research studies, update website listings, prescreen, refer, and schedule appointments for volunteers, manage the database, track metrics, produce performance reports, and provide administrative support to the office and the Clinical Research Officer. Will be responsible for arranging logistics for travel, meetings and events, data analysis for QA/QI, and tracking budgets, purchasing, and research support.

Bachelor's degree required. Experience in healthcare, clinical research, patient recruitment, public health, community outreach, or customer service strongly preferred. Must have excellent communication skills, professional demeanor/telephone etiquette, high attention to detail, accuracy, and punctuality. Must have experience in data entry, budgets, and basic data analysis. Must be able to work independently as well as seek guidance as needed. Personal initiative important, and must strictly honor patient confidentiality. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, email, and internet necessary; knowledge of Access helpful.
