Regional Account Executive South East Field Sales

Function: Responsible for the sales of ECRI Institute solutions and services to acute care hospitals in a high revenue producing territory.

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree with at least 5-10 year's recent sales and/or marketing experience in the healthcare environment. Candidate must have a proven track record in meeting/exceeding sales objectives; Highly self-motived, ability to manage a large territory, prepare revenue forecasts, and manage major accounts. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must. Approximately 50%travel.

Reports to: Area Vice President-South & East

Summary of Responsibilities

*

Using a consultative sales approach to introduce, establish, and/or sustain growth of ECRI institute solutions and services in the acute care hospital market
*

Identify, qualify, and close new and existing customers consistent with established sales plans and key account targets.
*

Develop and maintain a high-level of technical expertise on assigned products and have a firm grasp/understanding of the healthcare market in general.
*

Develop, implement, and effectively follow through with quarterly and annual strategic plans to achieve sales goals and objectives.
*

Sustain and/or develop strong and personable relationships with key customers in order to better address customer needs.
*

Provide feedback and information on competitive activity, changes in markets, pricing, etc.
*

Develop and implement (along with Senior Mgt.) strategic Sales/Marketing plans at the local and national level.
*

Communicate and help implement mission, goals and activities.
*

Help create Brand Identity for ECRI Institute.
*

Develop ethical, long term customer relationships that are mutually beneficial /productive for both our customers and ECRI
*

REQUIRED:

*

BA/BSdegree in business, life sciences, technical discipline or related area
*

5 (or more) years of successful medical sales/consulting experience, preferably with Patient Safety, Risk and Quality and/or consulting company with VP/Director/C-suite call points.
*

High Energy Professional who fosters achievement of Area and Organizations goals through team oriented interaction.
*

Excellent written, oral, and verbal communication skills.
*

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications.
*

Documented, proven track record of success.
*

Capable of assuming additional responsibility and/or roles as organization expands.
*

Capable of working and thriving in a small/flexible environment.
*

Ability to work and be productive out of a home office.
*

Travel up to 50% of the time.

DESIRED:
*

Established relationships (from C-Suite through Clinical Business Lines to Supply Chain).
*

Additional experience in marketing, sales education & training a plus.
*

Bi-lingual -English/Spanish a plus
*

MBA, or advanced degree a plus (not a necessity)
