The Vines Hospital is a 98-bed comprehensive behavioral
health facility located in beautiful Ocala. We provide
24-hour, 7-day a week services for those dealing with
psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues. The Vines
provides detox, acute, residential, outpatient and
partial hospitalization services for adolescents, adults
and seniors. The hospital provides individual, group,
and family therapy, as well as community-based services
to assist with ongoing recovery.
We currently have an opening for a Business Development
Representative. The Business Development Rep implements
the philosophy, policy, procedures, systems and
strategic goals set forth by the senior management team
while maximizing referral potentials from assigned
referral accounts, and developing new business to
achieve the goals and objectives of the strategic
marketing plan thereby strengthening our relationship
with these sources. Assists the Director of Business
Development in the development and coordination of
projects. Represents the facility to the community,
interested persons and potential referral sources within
the identified market service area. Performs regional
marketing functions as assigned by the Director of
Business Development. The Regional Business Development
Representative will be responsible for marketing The
Vines Hospital to the Tampa, Hillsborough and Polk
County areas (subject to change). The ideal candidate
will be familiar with the assigned territory and must
possess excellent communication skills and have a
demonstrated ability to work independently.
Education: Bachelor s Level Degree in Marketing or
related business field preferred or equivalent work
experience in related field.
Experience: Two (2) years in Marketing/Sales, preferably
in the Medical/Psychiatric field.
Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word. Excellent
verbal and written skills. Ability to work independently
and set priorities. Ability to develop creative
marketing ideas.
Physical Requirements: Irregular and long hours may be
required occasionally. Extensive travel required.
Lifting and loading twenty (20) pound boxes containing
brochures and/or literature and fifty (50) pound display
boards, etc. Exposure to patients and progress
