The Vascular Access Clinical team provides clinical and customer support of Teleflex Vascular Access Products to sustain and acquire business within a given territory or region while maintaining and developing customer loyalty through clinical and educational customer needs assessment, product and procedural training, in-servicing, and required customer follow up (i.e., letters, approved product information, samples, educational materials, and clinical research articles). The role of the Regional Clinical Education Manager for the Vascular Business Unit will report to the Manager of Clinical Education.

Maintain and develop expertise on Teleflex's critical care products, with particular emphasis on the Vascular Access devices (i.e., CVC, PICC, EZIO and Arrowgard technology)
In collaboration with Regional Sales Manger's, KAM's & CEM's prioritize Clinical Education support, programs for customers, sales representatives and CEM within the Region.
Support and manage new implementation and clinical educations programs for entire product line.
Keep current with medical literature, clinical initiatives/guidelines, competitive landscape, and industry trends and communicate with the appropriate sales and corporate stakeholders and departments
Identify and expand customer base through networking and following up activities
Follow approval process for region requests for Medical Director support, speakers, per-diems Maintain professional and clinical continuing education, licensure, and credentials. (when applicable)
Provide guidance and mentorship to the CEM team in the Region
Scheduled a field ride with CEM as necessary to assure company messaging is consistent with education and training for the entire product line
Review PMP and WPRS process every 6 weeks with CEM team members (Personal and professional development)
Approve requests for Medical Director support, Speaker Requests, Per-diem Requests
Manage Clinical Education Region Budget
Ensure the CEM team is meeting their defined goals and expectations
Conduct annual performance reviews of CEM team in partnership with National Manager of Clinical Education
Provide written and verbal communication to sales management and sales representatives regarding field activity and account information
Weekly/Biweekly CEM Region Team Call
Weekly scheduled calls with each CEM in Region
Assist the CEM team in developing/managing training schedules
Assist in region with product competency sign-off checklist of newly hired CEM and sales representatives in the field
Monitor CEM documentation/updates utilizing sales force .com
Achieve competency with training and education on entire Arrow product line
In collaboration with NCEM and Clinical Affairs schedule, market and support Regional Cadaver Lab programs
Provide guidance and mentoring to assigned Special Task Force Teams
Process and monitor the Region CEM team expense reports
Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Teleflex's Code of Conduct, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards
This position will cover the West Region.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of Bachelor Degree in related field
5 years Nursing experience within vascular access specialty (i.e., IV/PICC team, EZIO, Radiology, etc.)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Possess a valid driver's license and operate a motor vehicle with satisfactory driving records
Carry detail bag weighing up to 20 lbs
Lift equipment weighing up to 30 lbs
Able to stand or walk in numerous hospitals or at meetings for 6 - 10 hours per day, up to five (5) days per week
SPECIALIZED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced Certification in Vascular Access (ie., CRNI, AVA)
3-5 years of medical device experience
2 years of clinical education experience
Professional Affiliations and Associations such as APIC, INS, AVA
TRAVEL REQUIRED: 50 % plus
