Job Description

Management of the daily collection activities of the Credit Managers? portfolios, to ensure compliance with productivity goals, i.e. daily collections calls metrics, AR aging % reductions, cash collections, bad debt reduction, DSO performance & overall credit strategies needed to improve departmental procedures and Team?s overall performance.Prepares and analyzes reports including: daily to monthly and/or adhoc for the Area Director and V.P. of Credit and Collections in a timely manner, to include the reviews, analysis and communication of the top 200 accounts status, on a bi-weekly basis. Prepares written correspondence as needed. Handles special projects as assigned by Senior Management.Supports human resources processes related to hiring, employee relations, coaching, monitoring quality and efficiency, approving quarterly Desk Reviews, writing annual performance evaluations, staff development and teambuilding.Develops, maintains, and/or monitors relations with clients, field offices, FSC and other internal departments, to insure appropriate and accurate communication, reporting and superior customer service. Delivers Credit training to Sales staff through conference calls or local on-site visits. Assists PCMs with escalations of disputes and collections to Sr. Sales and Credit management.Executes and supports the Credit Risk?s team LOC recommendations by: coordinating, implementing, enforcing and managing the Branch CRT conditions process, which requires immediate escalation of recommendation of different payment strategies/options to different Sales management levels and Credit Area Director. Performs credit risk analysis, when needed, to justify job override field requests, and credit pre-approvals. Overall, manages/enforces staff?s compliance with collections to assigned credit limits.

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, OR equivalent work experience.
Special training in: Credit & Collections related, Finance, Accounting, Management Training7+ years of credit and collections background required.
2+ years minimum of supervisory or management experience required.Intermediate knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Peoplesoft knowledge preferred. Leadership ability, strong verbal and written communication skills, project management skills, ability to grasp new concepts and learn quickly, aptitude to learn and adapt to new processes and technology.
