General Overview Boast Hotels is searching for a Regional Director of Revenue Management (Regional DORM) that would manage the Westminster Hotel (183 rooms), Holiday Inn Express New York-Brooklyn (115 rooms), and the Red Lion Inn & Suites Brooklyn (104 rooms). Desired Candidate Traits The candidate must possess strong organizational and communication skills, must be a self-starter, and work well in a team environment. The candidate must also have experience in both branded and independent hotels. Position Description & Responsibilities Some of the duties and responsibilities of the Regional DORM include the following: Pricing and Inventory Review and adjust retail pricing, restrictions, etc. on a daily basis. Review all corporate rate RFPs. Determine rates, blackout dates, etc. Set group minimum acceptable rates, daily group allotments, etc. Brands Establish relationships with brand revenue management contacts. Ensure hotels are participating (or not) in mandatory and optional brand initiatives. Third Party Internet Sites and Wholesalers/FITs Establish relationships with market managers at Expedia,, GTA, etc. Determine pricing and promotional strategies on OTAs and FITs. Internet Marketing Spearhead SEO and SEM strategies for hotels. Design and implement email marketing strategy for hotels. Forecasting, Budgeting, and Reporting Provide operations team with forecast for scheduling. Provide a 30-60-90 days forecast at the end of each month. Provide annual rooms revenue budget (with daily and monthly breakout by segment). Provide weekly and monthly STR commentary. Revenue Meetings Lead weekly revenue meetings including GM, DOS, and corporate office. Review weekly pickup, transient/group pace, GRC log, major corporate leads, etc
