WOULD YOU LIKE TO DEVELOP AND GROW YOUR OWN HR DEPARTMENT THIS IS IT!
CERTIFIED HR PROFESSIONAL with responsibility for Federal, State and Local employment compliance, leadership and supervisory development, positive and effective associate relations, staffing, succession planning and fostering the Company culture. Provide support to +/- 300 employees within multiple units based in Reno and Seattle. Successfully operate in an ADP WORKFORCE NOW environment.

Effectively guide day-to-day decisions about people and lead with behaviors which are consistent with the Company values
Payroll, benefits and leave administration and support
Timely and consistently respond to day-to-day requirements for reporting, analysis, compliance, performance management, investigations, recruitment and selection
Support employee development at all levels
Coach individuals and teams to higher performance
Identify and implement improvements in HR effectiveness and processes
Facilitate change management
Promote effective two-way communications
Personally contribute to achievement of business goals
Routinely travel to outlying locations
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
5 years of experience in HR roles with increasing responsibilities some of which must have included line HR generalist responsibilities
Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Experience working in a non-union environment and executing union avoidance measures and tactics
Experience in HR operations for multiple units or states preferred
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred

Self-starter with a strategic viewpoint
Ability to identify issues and implement solutions

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to adapt those skills to the audience
Knowledge of HR labor and employment law, and the ability to interpret, apply and articulate this knowledge in support of business initiatives
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now preferred
