Manage a district (6 territory managers) vision and purpose that is consistent with corporate imperatives and revenue targets. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback and direction on sales calls to improve technical and selling skills
Lead district sales force activities including: hiring, training, development, performance evaluation, and compliance to corporate policies. Set clear expectations for utilization of approved promotional programs.
Set clear expectations and evaluate compliance to Regulatory Standards and Promotional Policies for all members in his/her district.
Allocate and manage district budget.
Build and sustain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the district. Communicate competitive market intelligence to brand teams and management.
Five years Managerial experience within Medical Device, pharmaceutical or biotechnology Knowledge of forecasting, developing and implementing district business plans and recognizing & responding to mid-range (12months or more) issues with strategic impact
Experience with fostering and creating a high performance culture that sustains high levels of performance
Experience leveraging significant internal and external customer relationships at all levels and across functional areas
