The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for securing contracts in: Enterprise Cloud Services; Hosting; Managed Applications; Collaboration and Messaging; custom web development, Infrastructure as a Service, Desktop as a Service; Intelligent Storage and Disaster and Recovery; and Data Center services. Specifically, the Regional Sales Manager will build awareness of NaviSite services within the existing Time Warner Cable sales organization in designated region. They will provide an overlay of NaviSite s services for the TWC sales organization, and will work together to upsell TWC customers to Enterprise Cloud and Managed IT services.
What You Will Do The Regional Sales Manager will:
Prospect for both new customer and existing relationships for new revenue opportunities.
Establish and qualify pipeline, engaging appropriate resources to develop technical requirements and solutions.
Take leadership role in pricing, architectural, risk identification and management, and competitive assessment areas.
Ensure clean handoff from pre-sales to appropriate service delivery resources.
Work within NaviSite guidelines to negotiate appropriate pricing, service level, and legal terms with customers.
Comply with NaviSite s standards and policies related to documentation, reporting, travel, and related administrative activities.
Foster and develop increased awareness of NaviSite service offerings within the TWC commercial sales organization in the region.
What we are looking for our Regional Sales Manager will have:
Experience selling to large enterprises ($1B Sales+)
Skill Set should either be around:
o Cloud Enterprise Managed Services (hosting, etc )
o Infrastructure Services and Solutions (i.e.: VMWare, HP, IBM, Sun, etc ) or
o Applications (i.e.: Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc )
o Services (i.e.: Deloitte, Accenture, IBM Global, etc )
Selling cycle of deals you ve worked on in the past should be 6-12 months
Have 5+ years direct sales success in the IT Managed Services, Outsourcing industry
Must work well in a team environment, with multiple resources
Demonstrated understanding of our industry, customer needs and competitive landscape
BS/BA or equivalent education preferred
Extensive regional travel required
