We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Representative Low Pressure to join our team in Los Angeles, CA.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Business Development The Regional Sales Representative Low Pressure is expected to develop the Low Pressure (blowers and low pressure compressors) business in the assigned region/area. They are required to meet or exceed established
business goals through intensive prospecting and selling. A major part of this role is to identify key direct customers and markets within the assigned region/area and implement a sales and marketing strategy to maximize business results; this includes developing
and managing low pressure OEMs.
Additional duties of a Sales Representative include:
Supporting and promoting the activities of the field sales representatives.
Controlling expenses, while maximizing the company assets, time, skills and profit levels.
Representing the company at trade shows and conferences.
Maintaining effective lines of communication with the Oil Free Business Partner, National Low Pressure Sales Manager, Regional Vice President, Regional Key Account Manager, Distribution and Aftermarket Sales Representatives and Technical/Service departments.
Reporting The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for preparing the monthly reports detailing business development results, competitor activity, sales forecasts and prospective customer activity. The successful candidate will use
the company CRM for quote generation, scheduling of follow-ups, potential opportunities and to record the actions and activities related to account development. The Regional Sales Representative will prepare monthly expense reports and ensure all necessary
Company databases are updated as required.
Market Analysis To be effective in this role, the Regional Sales Representative should continuously pursue knowledge and understand economic trends that may affect the Oil Free and Low Pressure business. Theyshould report such activity
to the National Sales Manager, Business Line Manager and Regional Vice President.
Training and Development With new products emerging, the Regional Sales Representative will stay ahead of the changes through continuous training and development. They should take advantage of all training opportunities to stay current
in product knowledge and the sales/marketing skills necessary to be effective in the role.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Four year degree in business, engineering or other technical area preferred or high school graduate with equivalent work experience required.
Minimum 3 years of relevant industrial sales experience, preferably in a related field. Previous experience in blower sales, waste water treatment and pneumatic conveying is beneficial.
Must be self-directed.
Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
Have proven presentation skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
This role requires up to 50% travel with the sales team.
Must have and maintain a valid driver s license.
