Job Description

STG International is seeking qualified candidates for Regional T/TA Coordinator to work FT supporting the Regional Office of Head Start in San Francisco, CA.



The Regional T/TA Coordinator/Grantee Specialist provides oversight responsibility for daily program operations, which include development, administration, delivery and evaluation of the Regional T/TA Network in coordination with the Head Start Training and Technical Assistance Center. The TTA Coordinator/Grantee Specialist works in close coordination with the ACF Regional Office s Technical Liaison (TL) and Contracting Officer s Technical Representative (COTR) to address and identify targeted needs of Head Start and Early Head Start grantees for training and technical assistance support and may be called upon to assist with grantees that require assistance with correcting deficiencies.







Scope of Responsibilities

* Supervise a team of Grantee Specialists and provide guidance and resources to assist grantees with establishing systems for continuous program improvements to prevent deficient status.

* Facilitate coordination with the Early Childhood Education Specialist (ECE)/Center Manager for each state in the region to ensure that work plans, travel, and deliverables are met.

* Develop and submit designated reports as directed by the contract and Regional Office Technical Liaison.

* Develop and maintain viable communication systems with the Regional Technical Liaison, Contract Officer s Technical Representative, Office of Head Start, and STGi Program Manager and Regional Director.

* Develop and maintain viable communication systems with the Regional Technical Liaison, Contract Officer s Technical Representative, Office of Head Start, and STGi Program Manager and Regional Director.

* Collaborate with the Regional Office on all grantee priorities and systematically plan for the corrective actions necessary to correct deficiencies.

Required Skills

* Working knowledge of the Head Start Program Performance Standards and Other Regulations and the OHS Monitoring Protocol.

* Demonstrated leadership in a customer service environment.

* Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal, collaboration and facilitation skills, including presenting material to senior Government officials.

* Understanding and knowledge of the process involved in developing a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).

* Demonstrated ability and experience to prioritize and manage workload and deadlines.

* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

* Demonstrated ability to review, aggregate, and present data gathered from multiple sources, upon the request of the regional office.

* Sufficient flexibility to work on-site with grantees for periods of time ranging from one day to several weeks, at the request of the regional office.

Required Experience

* A minimum of a BA or BS Degree, with a preference for a Master s degree in a field related to business administration and/or program design and management from an accredited university or college is required. If the highest degree was awarded more than ten years ago, the resume should be specific regarding courses, conferences, seminars attended that ensure the applicant is current in the field.

* 3-5 years project management experience, specifically in managing complex projects at the state and/or Federal level a plus.
