Seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the North East with a background in the sale of valves, regulators, fluid control devices, etc. to industrial and municipal clients. Excellent opportunity for the engineer with experience in managing and supervising independent sales representatives in the territory. Will be involved in business development, sales support in making customer calls, providing technical presentations and assisting in writing specifications, as well as personally handling certain accounts. Will also provide customer leads to sales reps. Provide yearly market planning and forecast to company Vice President, based on projected purchases from customers and Independent Representatives.
Desired qualifications include:
BS in Engineering is desired.
Should have experience in some of the following: Market Development, Extensive Customer Interface, Understanding of valves and fluid controls, experience in selling water / wastewater control devices to industry and municipal clients.
Must be a strong problem solver with excellent communication skills.
