Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is a 140 bed
hospital offering inpatient services for children,

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Graduate of an approved
school of nursing. Current RN licensure or work permit
in the state of Kentucky. This position requires medium
skill level in Math and Language and a high level in
reason. No experience is required; however, psychiatric
nursing is preferred.
Must possess knowledge of developmental stages of
children, adolescents, geriatrics, and adults, and the
social, cultural, and environmental influences on both
patient and family members.
Must have knowledge of family dynamics,
adaptive/maladaptive coping skills that families use,
parenting skills, and ability to work with family
systems in effort to resolve conflicts.
Must have basis understanding of chemically dependent
families and sources available in communities to provide
support to the patient and family.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect
data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out
instructions in written, oral and diagram form. Ability
to deal with problems involving several variables in
many different situations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to express or exchange
ideas by means of spoken and written word.
