Global Health Care Group wishes to provide on site Registered Nurses Services for the Sam Rayburn Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), located in Bonham, Texas.Available Position(s): 5 Registered Nurses Long Term Care RNs.Place of Performance: Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center, 1201 E. 9th St., Bonham, TX 75418Work Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week, 8 hours work days, 30 minutes lunch, in flexible shifts hours. Tours of Duty Monday through Friday:7:30am to 4:00pm3:30pm to 12:00am11:30pm to 8:00amThe RN may also be required to work on Weekends, Overtime, and Holidays.Description of Services (includes but it is not limited to)The Staff RN must be able to: Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of client care. Supervise other personnel and give feedback on their performance. Demonstrate leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others. Demonstrate proficiency using the nurse process in providing care for clients with complex nursing care needs and be able to guide and direct others who provide care. Apply the nursing process to systems at the unit/team/work group level to improve care. Identify ethical issues in practice and take appropriate action. Act as an advocate when client self determination is in question providing accurate information to clients and other staff when ethical issues arise. Must be proficient in keyboarding and basic computer skills.Period of Performance: Services shall be provided from January 30, 2012 through September 30, 2012 and may be extended until September 30, 2014, contingent upon acceptable performance and all necessary state reviews and approvals.Requirement:Position Requirements/Qualifications:License: Must have an active and unrestricted Registered Nurse License. Certifications: BLS certification and ACLS certification (for ICUs and ER Staff)Experience: Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.Professional References: Must provide at least 3 professional references.Background Check: Criminal history record check and fingerprints shall be conducted.
