Responsible for development, implementation and evaluation of individualized, age-specific treatment plans and for the direct and indirect nursing care of acute psychiatric adolescent and adult inpatients. Coordinates the multi-disciplinary, inter/intra disciplinary plan of care, facilitating communication among team members and the attainment of goal-oriented care leading to a timely discharge to the next level of care. This position is responsible for the supervision of the mental health counselors and for maintaining a safe, structured and therapeutic environment.
Minimum Qualifications: Current State of CT RN license. Minimum of 1 year experience working on an Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit.
