Job Description
Company: Appalachian Regional Healthcare System
Facility: Blowing Rock Hospital at Blowing Rock
Department: Med/Surg A. 1st Flr - 36110
Education and Formal Training: Completion of high school plus two to four years of specialized training. Valid North Carolina Registered Nurse licence. The nursing supervisor is responsible for the shift he/she is assigned. Supervisory experience preferred.
Organizes and over-sees the work flow of the shift.
Directs employees to assure standards of care are met.
Assures adequate staffing relating to activity level of patients.
Provides direct patient care. Is a working supervisor.
Must be available to work needed shifts on days assigned to be on call Full-time Evenings & Weekends Associates Degree RN Required
