SERVICE AREA OVERVIEW
We recognize each patient s journey to recovery is different and requires a special level of care. Our Medical/Surgical Unit at Northside Hospital provides acute and rehabilitative nursing care services to help our patients get back to their daily lives. The Med/Surg unit is characterized by a warm, friendly and caring atmosphere that stresses individual attention for all patients. This approach is reflected in outstanding patient satisfaction survey results. The unit also participates in nursing education by providing internships for students. We also support clinical internships for Patient Care Technicians. If you have the skills to contribute to our team, Northside is eager to talk to you!
The Clinical Systems Super User will be responsible for serving as a unit based advanced clinical systems user and first-line staff support/resource for clinical systems issues concerning proper use, process flow, system adoption, and issue resolution during system implementations. In their daily responsibilities, the super user will ensure accuracy and maintain a high standard of quality in staff support. The superuser will attend classes and/or workshops to improve clinical systems performance and enhance nursing knowledge base.
The RN Clinical Supervisor will also be responsible for managing the patient care of assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of the Medical/Surgical unit. Our unit is a Fast-Paced unit focusing in on the care of Cardiovascular, Stroke, and Pulmonary as well as General Medical patients.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. One (1) years experience in clinical area. Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Basic computer/mathematical skills.
