psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health care
and chemical dependency counseling services
The Staff Nurse (R.N.) is a registered professional
nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient
care through collaborative efforts with health team
members in accordance with the nursing process and the
standards of care and practices.
Valley Hospital has developed it's military program
through our parent company s (United Health Services
Inc.) Patriot Support Program network of treatment
centers, support staff and medical professionals
dedicated to treating active duty members of the
military, veterans and their families.
Valley Hospital is currently offering a $5K sign on
bonus for Full-time experienced Night Shift Registered
Nurses. Previous experience as a Behavior Health RN
preferred. Valley Hospital offers a competitive salary

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
1. Document patient information and nursing care in the
provision of nursing services.
2. Document and reassess any significant changes in the
patient's condition in compliance with facility
3. Report any signs or symptoms of infection in patients
to the Infection Control Nurse.
4. Verify the accuracy of patient records.
5. Complete and report Acuities to supervisor for the
next shifts staffing levels.
Education: Graduate from an accredited program of
professional nursing required; Bachelor's
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience in a
psychiatric health-care facility
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Arizona
State Board of Nursing.
Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication
administration exam before administering medications.
CPR certification prior to employement and successful
completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior (SAMA)
including restraint and seclusion policies,during
orientation, and prior to assisting in restraining
