LEVEL III NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT at a leading academic medical center*

If so, you may be the right candidate to join our RUSH NICU staff!



POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

*

Our 55 bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit offers comprehensive care to high risk and at-risk infants.
*

Our NICU in Rush's Tower facility features all private rooms and latest technology
*

NICU staff carry devices with advance communication technology to maintain constant contact with their infants' physiological parameters
*

We offer a Care by Parent Program, an internationally recognized Breastfeeding Program and provide developmentally supportive care to our patients.
*

NICU is part of the Rush Pediatric Patient and Family Advisory Council
*

Our transport team provides services to approximately 16 network hospitals in the region.
*

We also offer a preceptor orientation for new staff RNs.
*

Position is for rotating 12 hour shifts (72 hours per payperiod)

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:



*

State of Illinois Registered Nurse Licensure (will consider candidates who plan on obtaining in very near future)
*

BSN or MSN
*

1 year RN experience in a Level III NICU OR strong clinical experience in nursing program
*

Ability to work rotating day/night 12 hr shifts
*

CPR certification
*

NRP certification or completion within the first 6 months after hire
