The Intensive CareCritical Care Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who is responsible for designated patients for a specified time frame. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process, the environment and other health care resources to meet the specialized age-appropriate physical, emotional and spiritual needs of all ages of patient populations assigned.QualificationsEducation:- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associates, Bachelor s, Master s, or Diploma degree.License Certifications:- Current state of Missouri registered nurse license or eligible for immediate state license.- Basic Life Support (BLSCPR) certification or completion upon hire required.- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or completion upon hire required.- CCRN certification preferred,- Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Critical Care Nurses) certification or completion upon hire required.Skills Experience:- Prior acute-care experience preferred.- Prior critical care or emergency department experience preferred.- Must be highly motivated and committed to a quality of care that emphasizes the patient first.
