Job Summary



Coordinates the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care to provide optimal/quality patient care consistent with the Hospital s mission and Nursing philosophy, goals, standards, and bylaws and in collaboration with other clinical disciplines. Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care based on nursing diagnoses consistent with the patient s age, health/illness status, and physiological/psychosocial needs.





Qualifications


Registered Nurse with current North Carolina license.
Current CPR certification (BLS Course C) unless meets requirements for restricted CPR certification.
Successful completion of General Hospital Orientation and General Nurse Orientation provided by Organizational Development.
Successful completion of specialty/subspecialty orientation including a minimum six weeks under the direction of the Unit Coordinator/Charge Nurse, RN/RN Preceptor.
Demonstrates competency in assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care required.
Demonstrates professional verbal and written communication skills required.
Physical ability to inspect, percuss, palpate, or auscultate, and perform CPR unless meets requirements for restricted CPR certification required.
&n Nights; 12 hr. shifts; M-F Full Time
