The tasks and responsibilities include:p br ul liAssesses plans and evaluates patient care needs. li liCarries out physician orders.li liAdministers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs.li liProvides respiratory and ventilator management and monitoring for patients.li liServes as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well coordinated patient care.li liMonitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. li liInstructs and educates patients and families.li liAssesses and coordinates patients discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.li liProvides age and culturally appropriate care.li liOrients and mentors new staff members.li liFollows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.li ulimg src=https:rs.careerliaison.compixelbjdd6g7br br pstrongQualificationsstrong:p ul liCurrent licensure as an RNli liCurrent certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider and ACLSli liGraduate of an accredited school of professional nursingli liCustomer service abilities including effective listening skillsli liCritical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environmentli liAbility to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients andor equipment up to 50 poundsli ul
