To ensure that competent therapeutic care is delivered to all patients based on medical orders and/or established standards of practice for a physician s clinic. Organized, timely and cost efficient patient centered care is given through administration of medications, treatment and education.

Describe skills, knowledge and abilities (competencies) required to successfully meet minimum requirements of this position:
Strong clinically focused RN with knowledge of surgical patients
Skills in: independent thinking and problem solving, organization, computer, and conflict resolution, with a willingness to be creative and flexible in an ever changing environment.
Demonstrate and maintain clinical competencies open positive communication , and work as a team member
Supervise less experienced staff.

Level and type of experience required/preferred:
A minimum of 3 yrs nursing experience required. Experience as circulating or scrub nurse with plastic surgery procedures preferred.
A proven record of being able to handle a fast paced environment.
Problem solver in a positive matter.

Education, training or certification required/preferred:
Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing program and must posses a Virginia Nursing License.
Requires current CPR certification
Preferred ACLS certification

Part time 1: Days Bachelors degree is preferred
