Registered Nurse - Step Down (PRN)-1136873 Description: The Telemetry Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who is responsible for designated patients for a specified time frame. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process, the environment and other health care resources to meet the specialized age-appropriate physical, emotional and spiritual needs of all ages of patient populations assigned. Must be able to work in CCU as needed. Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a bachelor or associate degree, or diploma graduate nurse.. Certificates Licenses: Missouri Registered Nurse license; or eligible for immediate state license required Basic Life Support (BLSCPR) Certification or complete within 30 days of hire required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification or complete within 30 days of hire required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification or complete within 30 days of hire required. CCRN (Certification for Adult, Pediatric and Neonatal Critical Care Nurses) National Certification preferred. Experience: One to two years prior acute-care experience preferred, new graduates will be considered. Must be highly motivated and committed to a quality of care that emphasizes the patient first Must be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills.
