Registered Respiratory Therapist Outpatient Services

Under the supervision of the Manager and the Medical Director of the Pulmonary Function Laboratory, the employee performs prompt, courteous, and quality technical diagnostic studies for review by the Pulmonary Practice. Under the direction and supervision of the Medical Director, the employee assists in documentation for and organization of Respiratory Care Community Referral.
Minimum Requirements:

High school graduate
Graduate of Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
Associate in Applied Science or Baccalaureate Degree in Respiratory Care
NYS License as a Respiratory Therapist
Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist by the National Board for Respiratory Care or eligible to obtain
BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificates
At least two years experience as a RRT in an acute care setting
Ability to provide services to Bassett Healthcare Regional Sites visited by the Pulmonary Practice Part time Days
