This position will be located in the Rhinelander Clinic.
The Rehab Technician is a non-licensed worker who has completed on-the-job training and works under the supervision of a licensed physical, occupational, and/or speech therapist. The Rehab Technician monitors and coordinates the flow of inventory and supplies including ordering, delivery, and storage for the Rehab Department. The Rehab Technician will also prepare reports and perform clerical duties as assigned by the Rehab Manager for Extended Services or the Team Leader. Knowledge of patient care standards and practices in a rehab setting normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma, on-the-job training of complex technical duties, and a clear demonstration of competence at performing Physical Therapy Aide duties. Current CPR certification necessary. A history of school and work performance that gives evidence of ability to meet the job requirements beneficial. Possesses effective decision-making and organizational skills and attention to detail. Possesses excellent customer service skills and verbal/non-verbal communication skills. Occasional Day High School/GED
