Release and Deployment Manager

The Release and Deployment Manager will define and implement processes
and tools necessary to effectively manage solution delivery through the
system life cycle in a regulated environment. The individual will review
the current suite of processes and tools, identify / rationalize gaps vs.
best practices, and define rapidly-deployable solutions. * Develop, document,
review and socialize Release strategy and deployment plans.* Receive, log,
qualify and assign all Release requests* Participate in Release control
gates (as needed)* Develop installation, configuration, test scripts and
rollback procedures.* Develop test readiness review with all appropriate
teams.* Procure Release components as required.* Compile and review the
testing deliverables to ensure quality in * Conduct testing, readiness
and documentation reviews as required.* Communicate Release dispositions
and status to appropriate teams.* Participate in CAB meeting * Deploy new
Releases in accordance with plan.* Update Master Release Calendar, Forward
Schedule of Change and CI?s.* Secure software in DSL (Definitive Software
Library)* Participate in Post Implementation Review (PIR).* Establish security
permissions for DSL and access to managed environments* Champion the new
processes and encourage project managers and application teams to use them*
Recommend business problem solutions that will improve customer service,
reduce cost, or provide for a competitive advantage. * Provide coaching
and encourage career devel

Requirements

* 8-10 years experience in an Infrastructure management role, supporting
enterprise business applications. * 5+ years experience with enterprise
Infrastructure services.* 5+ years experience managing IT teams.* Experience
managing projects through the full system life cycle.* A minimum of 5 years
of management experience in Information Technology Operations* Experience
with Release Management Systems (i.e. BMC Remedy)
