JOB DESCRIPTION- Analyze Army field maintenance data to determine component failure trends.- Conduct Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) determinations with subject matter experts.- Prepare updated RCCA charts for the Bi-monthly Failure FRACAS deliverable.- Prepare RCCA charts for the monthly R&M IPT meeting.- Prepare FMECA entries for any new failure modes not already covered in existing FMECAs. - Provide Reliability Engineering support for the US Army Black Hawk program. - Score field maintenance data to assign proper coding for analysis and failure trending. - Analyze data of assigned aircraft systems to determine root cause and corrective action. - Incorporate any newly discovered failure modes into the Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis report update. - Knowledge of the Sikorsky H-60M helicopter systems and pertinent U.S. Army specifications/program requirements is preferred.
- BS/MS degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering (preferably
in an aerospace environment).- Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective
Action Systems (FRACAS) documentation.- Failure Mode Effects and Criticality
Analysis (FMECA) generation- Reliability/Maintainability performance metric
calculations- 5 years industry experience as an R&M Engineer - A&P license
and/or aviation maintenance background is highly desirable.- Experience
in failure analysis methodology and aircraft maintenance and hardware is
required- Computer familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
Outlook. - Candidate should also possess excellent written and oral communication
ability. - Drug Screen- Background Check - US Citizen or Green Card Holder
