Job Description

Our client, located near Rosemont, is seeking a qualified individual for a temporary project as a Replenishment Analyst/Staff Analyst.

The details surrounding this position are as such:
*Manage replenishment of accessories using SAP Retail merchandise replenishment system for about 400 Retail Store and Kiosk locations. *Maintain a high service level of product and continually improve inventory turnover; and, provide full support to stores regarding inventory concerns or questions.
*Develop relationships with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and ultimately support the customer.
*Analyze store inventory levels and sales rates to achieve targeted turn over and in stock goals.
*Recognize company sales trends and subtle geographical differences needed to plot a course of action that will allow for a maximization of identifiable sales opportunities.
*Determine order frequency and order levels using SAP Retail system. Product service levels will be maintained at a high level, while maintaining turnover goals.
*Generate inventory replenishment orders.
*Formulate decisions to minimize overstocks and stock-outs.
*Identify obsolete and potentially obsolete inventory. Analyst is expected to recommend a course of action that will minimize obsolete inventory reduction costs.
*Determine when to perform inventory transfers and coordinate transfers as needed.
*Build relationships with stores to optimize our ability to support them by removing distractions and serving the customer.
*Interpret inventory policies and support the field on their execution.
*Utilize product and store knowledge to allocate the right product in the right place at the right time, in the right quantities.
*Using a product life cycle roadmap determines when to start replenishment and stop replenishment in order to minimize the amount of discontinued product.
*Build inventory levels appropriately to support promotions, peak sales periods, or special events.
*Coordinate special orders, meetings and other related tasks.

Job Experience:

*3-5 years of relevant work experience required; experience with a mechanized inventory ordering system and/or inventory planning in retail or related field preferred.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
*Working knowledge of PC Windows based applications (Excel and Word).
*SAP experience (IS Retail) a plus.
*The ability to work with multiple computer applications at the same time.
*Ability to balance multiple tasks at once, and reprioritize as needed.
*Strong ability to manage time affectively, and to be versatile.
*Self motivated, and demonstrates initiative.
*Ability to develop relationships and work in a team environment.
