JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Summary: The Telephone Sales Representative is responsible for developing Maintenance and Protection Agreement sales over the phone from leads generated from the customer database, where all customers solicited have existing relationships with Sears or other client. This position delivers the sales presentation with passion, commitment, courtesy and professionalism and in conformance to policy and procedure. Additionally, it is paramount that this position use unwavering customer service and high ethical selling standards. Job Duties/Responsibilities: * Contacts customers via telephone, and attempts to sell product Maintenance and Protection Agreements * Contacts and engages decision-makers, and applies skill sin the area of communication, customer service and problem solving * Delivers a sales presentation that is partially scripted, using ad-libs as needed, and adapts to change quickly * Offers the best value for the customer in terms of price, discounts, multiple and additional products and maximum term * Stresses features and benefits of the Protection Agreement * Fields questions and overcomes specific objections raised by customer * Corrects customer information on record when appropriate * Closes the sale and is respectful of the customer's rights * Mails proposals and literature when requested * Follows through and calls back per commitments * Works with other team members to provide the highest level of customer service and meet team goals * Complies with and adheres to selling policies, procedures and Company ethics * Completes leads, sales processing and recording * Performs other duties as assigned

Pay rate is $11.50 for 3 months without commission - then goes to $9.50 WITH commission and higher earning potential.
Shift: FT 30 hours per week - 5 days per week
Hours: 2 days/2 nights Days 7 am to 12:30 pm and Nights 4:30 pm to 10 pm
Rotating Weekends: Saturday 7 am to 3:30 pm and Sundays 9 am to 4:30
Paid training: Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm for 2 weeks then 1 week 7 am to 1:30 pmREQUIREMENTS Education Requirements: HS Graduate or Equivalent Years of Related Experience: 1 Year Travel Requirements: None Required Skills: * Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English instructions * Ability to complete internal documentation * Ability to present information to and communicate with customers and Associates * Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure * Ability to apply reasoning and comprehension to carry out simple written or oral instructions * Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations, and occasionally interpret and adapt to customer's needs and find solutions that are outside of the standardized situations * Ability to perceive and demonstrate good intuition * Ability to actively listen to customers * Ability to be assertive, self motivated and possess drive * Frequent sitting, some standing and walking, bending and reaching as necessary (sitting for 4-8 hours with res periods scheduled accordingly) * Ability to frequently use fingers and hands to manipulate computer and telephone equipment (enters data using a computer keyboard) * Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers while continuously wearing a telephone headset Preferred Skills: * Sales experience (in person or over the phone)Equal Opportunity Employer / Disability / Vet.
