A RESEARCH ANALYST WILL USE RESEARCH DATA/INFORMATION TO DEVELOP REPORTS, POLICIES, PROCEDURES, OR SYSTEMS; SOLVE PROBLEMS; OR SUPPORT MANAGEMENT/BUSINESS\' QUESTS/GOALS FOR PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT AND DIRECTION.

Applies qualitative or quantitative analytical techniques to analyze data and/or information obtained from research.
Data/Information will vary according to business focus (marketing, science, finance, information systems, engineering, medical) and/or management philosophy or structure.

OVERVIEW:

* RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSISTING IN THE DEVELOPMENT, COORDINATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF INTERNAL PROGRAMS TO ENSURE THE CLIENT IS COMPLIANT WITH FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL REGULATIONS (E.G., EQUAL OPPORTUNITY {EO}, AFFIRMATIVE ACTION {AA} AND OTHER REGULATORY OBLIGATIONS.)
* Requires ability to work collaboratively with team members and business leaders alike; must be able to work at a tactical level while maintaining a big-picture perspective.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* ASSIST IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PROGRAMS ACROSS THE U.S. AND PUERTO RICO.
* ASSIST IN MANAGING COMPLIANCE REVIEWS BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR'S OFFICE OF FEDERAL CONTRACT COMPLIANCE PROGRAMS (OFCCP)
* Aid in developing communication strategy and training programs regarding U.S. compliance and diversity progress.
* Implement processes for data collection, auditing statistics and identifying areas for improvement.
* Work with internal partners to ensure processes and systems within key organizations are developed with AA/EEO compliance and the business in mind.
* Design presentations for Divisional Vice Presidents on Affirmative action.
* SERVE AS A CONSULTANT TO GROUPS IN MATTERS REGARDING U.S. EEO/AA COMPLIANCE.
* Assist in the developing and in the coordination of external audit responses as needed.
* Manage human resource initiatives, applicant tracking, "Good faith efforts" monitoring and special projects as well as research and recommend approaches as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN AA/EO COMPLIANCE ROLE OR 3 YEARS IN AN ADMINISTRATIVE ROLE SERVING HR OR AA/EO FUNCTION.
* Strong problem solving skills.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
* Experience with Microsoft Access a plus.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and influence all levels of management.
* Ability to handle multiple deadlines and multi-task
* Proficient presentation skills
* Demonstrated knowledge of recruiting/hiring practices
* Demonstrated analytical skills
* Demonstrated general understanding of averages, ratios and statistics
* Preferexperience dealing with OFCCP and/or Human Resources partners on EO/AA matters
* Ability to be flexible and change directions when needed.
