WNET is looking for an individual with excellent research and communication skills to serve as Research Assistant to the President & CEO. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about television and its educational potential, and are interested in learning about the television industry from a seasoned professional.
In this position, you will work directly with the President & CEO of WNET. WNET’s President & CEO has 25 years of experience in television service, and is seeking to implement new and innovative programs. You will support him in this effort by conducting research on potential projects and programming ideas. In addition, you will assist his Executive Assistant by providing administrative support, including answering phones, responding to inquiries, filing and drafting correspondence, and providing assistance on other projects as assigned.
Applicants must have keen internet research abilities, proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, strong organizational skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional presentation skills and professionalism, as the person selected will be representing WNET and its President’s Office before the public.
