We are currently seeking a Research Assistant for the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Silver Spring, Maryland!

ClinicalRM is a full service Contract Research Organization (CRO) specializing in preclinical through Phase IV support of clinical research and clinical trial services for biologics, drugs, and devices. We help our customers get their products to market faster with a wide array of research, regulatory, and sponsor services both within the US and around the globe, and respond rapidly to global health crises.

Job Responsibilities:


Assist in designing research studies, and will be expected to provide scientific input into the research process.

Assist with the development of interventions to sustain and enhance performance in the face of operational stress.

Utilize research processes that include behavioral observation and physical monitoring survey techniques, evaluate patient records, and assess the efficacy of psychological intervention techniques.

Evaluate the US Service Member and unit behavior to include the development of rating scales, qualitative and quantitative metrics, and sampling methods to collect and measure data.

Develop surveys and conduct interviews to measure and analyze attitudes opinions as a basis for predicting behavior, and perform psychological monitoring.

Coordinate all logistical requirements for field studies, collect and collate survey and interview data, conduct data quality control, process and clean data, and archive data to appropriate databases and or codebooks.

Describe the statistical parameters and assist the USAMRU-W Principal Investigators in preparing Command level briefings, technical report writing, and with preparing manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals. May participate in program reviews and planning conferences.

May train other Research Assistants.

Comply with occupational health and safety standards and other applicable regulations and guidelines.Qualifications:


Master's level degree in psychology, sociology, public health or a related field with an interest in military studies.

Excellent English writing, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficiency with analysis/statistics programs such as SPSS; experience conducting advanced statistical analyses; and the ability to work independently.
