While our work is broadly focused, most of our day-to-day work is with the UCLA Center for Digital Behavior where we study technologies for health and medicine.
The Technology Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for using social media, technologies, and other methods to recruit participants to research studies and to gain website visitors to research-related sites. The candidate will be supervised by the PI and will carry out day-to-day operations of assigned research projects as well as writing briefs related to science and research. Day-to-day activities will involve the following: creating a marketing strategy for recruiting participants and website visitors; analyzing the success of the strategy using social media data and data analytics; contacting marketing, research, and other potential research partners to gain their assistance in recruiting participants; communication with research staff and students to ensure they complete their tasks; community outreach and ability to maturely and sensitively communicate with community stake-holders; creating slides and website content to convey the mission of the Institute; and other day-to-day tasks.
