Discover more about FivePrime at a href="/" /a .       /p h2 The Position: /h2 p We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to support the development and optimization of downstream purification processes for our internal biologics pipeline. The position will be responsible for performing laboratory and pilot scale column chromatography, and analytical assays to support protein purification process development.  /p p The primary responsibilities include but not limited to: /p ul li style="text-align:justify" Design and execution of assigned experiments independently /li li style="text-align:justify" Select appropriate methods and techniques in performing research and process development /li li style="text-align:justify" Develop robust purification protocols for technology transfer to contract manufacturing organizations /li li style="text-align:justify" Perform scale-up/down purification experiments /li li style="text-align:justify" Medium-Large scale purification to support pre-clinical pharmacology studies /li li style="text-align:justify" Plan and execute process characterization studies /li li style="text-align:justify" Perform ultrafiltration and diafiltration in support of purification process development /li li style="text-align:justify" Collaborate with research and other development groups on purification of proteins for research studies /li li style="text-align:justify" Interact with Analytical Development and Cell Culture development groups within Process Development function /li li style="text-align:justify" Develop and implement new technologies for optimization and continuous improvement of current manufacturing process operations /li li style="text-align:justify" Interpret data, present results of work, and draw conclusions on presented materials /li li style="text-align:justify" Other projects when assigned /li /ul
