Regeneron commercializes medicines for eye diseases, high LDL-cholesterol, and a rare inflammatory condition and has product candidates in development in other areas of high unmet medical need, including oncology, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, atopic dermatitis, pain, and infectious diseases. br / br / Summary: br / We are seeking a Research Associate to join the VI Next Group of Regeneron Pharmaceutical Inc. at Tarrytown, NY. The successful candidate will support on-going research initiatives towards generating, characterizing, and optimizing novel genetically engineered mouse models, using VelociGene technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong background knowledge as well as wet-lab experience in molecular biology, genetics and immunology. br / br / Responsibilities: /p ul li Apply up-to-date molecular cloning techniques to construct targeting vectors and expression vectors. /li li Characterize new and existing mouse models by FACS, ELISA, Western blotting, Next Generation Sequencing, and other cell base biological assays. /li li Utilize in vitro system, such as transfection or viral transduction to deliver and express genes of interest, to test new ideas and models. /li li Analyze data using biological and statistical softwares, such as MacVector, Sequencher, Prism, Flowjo, etc; generate experimental reports; make suggestions leading to potential improvements; design new experiments. /li li Integrate novel technologies to increase work efficiency; optimize current protocols and develop new techniques. /li li Document experimental procedures and results in a well-organized fashion; present working progress at group and department meetings; contribute in drafting of protocols, method development reports, and research articles. /li li Initiate and maintain collaboration within and outside the group. br / br /
