If this describes you, you may be the right candidate for the RESEARCH COORDINATOR 2 position in EPIDEMIOLOGY NUTITION.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

The Research Regulatory Coordinator II will assistant in the maintenance and integration of multiple research projects which share participants of the MIND diet intervention trial. Responsibilities include assisting in recruitment of study participants, assuring retention of participants to the parent studies, and serving as a contact person for study participants, other MIND coordinators and Investigators. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides mentoring and training to MIND research assistant.
*

Participates in the development of and implementation of policies and procedures to facilitate the protection of human subjects.
*

Provide support for special projects.
*

Phlebotomist will need to draw blood on patients regularly.
*

Assists in processing samples for further storage, testing, and distribution.
*

Completes electronic submissions of the coverage analysis, IRB application, contract, etc. into the Rush Research Portal (RRP).
*

Communicates with the study team to ensure awareness of protocol changes and process revisions.
*

Assists other project coordinators and Principal Investigators in ensuring the success of the MIND trial portfolio of studies.
*

Performs additional duties as assigned.



POSITION QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

*

Bachelor's Degree is required: Bachelor s degree in Health Sciences preferred.
*

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
*

Successful candidates can demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
