Job Description
The GROW trial is an NIH-funded research study that will examine how to impact healthy weight trajectories in preschool children who live in Davidson County, TN. Data will be collected to examine the interaction between behavior, genetics & environment in the development of preschool age children. The trial will include more than 600 parent-child dyads who participate in a three-year intervention. The first two years of the seven year long project will conduct formative research to refine the final intervention content & protocol.
Preferred Education, Skills &/or Experiences:
Strongly prefer community-based research intervention trial experience. Previous field experience of at least 24 months essential. Master's level education preferred.
Key Functions & Expected Performances:
- Work closely with the study PI & study team to achieve all project goals & study activities related to all phases of the research study.
- Train & supervise study research assistants, data collectors, & students.
- Develop & refine survey instruments & data collection tools.
- Collaborate with other Research Coordinators.
- Ensure quality of data collection & data entry.
- Develop timelines & ensure adherence to timelines & quality implementation.
- Work with community partners to develop the curriculum for the control arm & to establish the infrastructure for implementing the curriculum in the community.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time position. Flexible hours may be required.
Salary range is $32,552.00 - $50,000.00 per year dependent upon years of education & experience.
