JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Position Overview
The Center for Educational and Testing Evaluation (CETE), is seeking a Research Project Coordinator to support the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) alternate assessment consortium. The coordinator will support states implementation of the assessment system by communicating with state education agency partners, coordinating consortium activities, and collaborating with other teams to achieve project deliverables. The coordinator will also supervise staff on special projects. Experience with alternate assessment administration, assessment program management, or prior supervisory experience are especially preferred.
Position will include approximately 10% travel time.
30% Respond to inquiries from DLM state partners, provide support to state partners, including addressing policy issues
25% Plan and coordinate project activities to support consortium and state-level implementation
20% Develop and deliver training in collaboration with subject matter experts
15% Manage the team s Research Project Specialists; supervise temporary staff and student employees on special projects as needed
10% Collaborate with other DLM teams to achieve project deliverables
* Bachelor s degree in education or related field
* One year of experience in education, assessment, or related field
* Strong attention to detail as evidenced in application materials and work history
* One year of experience with Microsoft Office suite
* Effective oral and written communication skills as evidenced by application materials and interview
* One year of experience monitoring or managing workflow
* Recent experience with alternate assessment administration or delivery of a testing program
* Recent experience with assessment program management
* Prior supervisory experience
* Prior experience planning and coordinating special projects
