Job Description
RTI's Crime, Violence & Justice division has an immediate opening for a Research Public Health Analyst - Criminal Justice/Policing and Trafficking in RTP, NC.

Responsibilities
The candidate will be primarily responsible for:
Leading and providing scientific guidance to research studies relating to the adult and juvenile justice systems and related systems
Obtaining research funding for new grants and contracts
Enhancing professional prestige and external recognition of RTI
Promoting quantitative approaches to studying crime, violence, and justice; motivating, mentoring, and supervising junior research staff
Providing leadership and vision in further developing crime and justice research at RTI

Qualifications
Must have a successful record of obtaining competitive funding and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
Must have experience directing multi-site evaluations desirable.
Education: Ph.D. in psychology, sociology, criminology, public health, or a related field with over 6 years of experience and have substantial experience conducting research and evaluation in crime, justice policy, criminal behavior, and/or policing and trafficking.
