Job Description

The Health Equity Analytics and Solutions program within the division for Research on Healthcare Values, Equity, and the Lifespan at RTI International has an immediate opening for a Research Public Health Analyst 3 to coordinate and assist with the conduct of research and evaluation projects. Projects in this program focus on measuring health equity, identifying the causes of inequity, identifying solutions that result in greater health equity, and evaluating impact on health equity. This position can be located in RTP, Washington, DC or Waltham, MA.


* Coordinate and manage health research and evaluation activities

* Lead and participate in study design and development

* Collect and analyze social science data

* Conduct site visits and interviews

* Lead literature reviews

* Manage and coordinate project activities and budgets

* Lead and participate in development of technical reports and peer reviewed manuscripts

* Lead and participate in development of grant and contract proposals


* PhD in Public Health or Health Policy, Economics, or related degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience in measuring and or techniques to improve health equity or disparities

* Demonstrated success in proposal writing and winning new business

* Strong qualitative and quantitative expertise

* Proven ability to communicate at all levels and have the ability to provide writing samples if requested

* Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered for this role

Desired Qualifications:

* Demonstrated success in working with multi-site/state initiatives/programs

* Track record of leading large projects
