Duties and Responsibilities
- Contributes to scientific development and writing of manuscripts.
- Conceptualizes new experiments with appropriate controls.
- Develops protocols to include cutting-edge technologies into research experiments.
- Performs research experiments using personal discretion and judgment.
- Analyzes and interprets data from experiments.
- Trains and directs research of first and second year graduate students and research assistants.
- Performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education or Experience
Minimum Education:
Required: Bachelors Degree
Specify Degree(s): Molecular Biology, Biology, Biochemistry or Chemistry

Minimum Experience:
Required: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience

Certificates, credentials or licenses required to perform the duties of this position:


Computer Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Excel, Basic Keyboarding Skills.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biology, Biochemistry or Chemistry, Microbiology, Virology, Immunology is preferred.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and established procedures.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to communicate verbally.
- Ability to finish tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to deal calmly and courteously with people.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data.
