Department: Respiratory Care
Responsible for respiratory therapy treatments and procedures in the patient care center. Performs ordered tests. Sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and illness. Assesses the needs, treats and provides care to patients. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program; and, Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician(CRTT)or Registered Respiratory Therapist(RRT). Illinois Respiratory Therapy license. In House Registry In House Registry Associates degree required Certification Required Licensure Required Registered required Customer service skills Recent experience in the specialty area is required
