SERVICE AREA OVERVIEW
Northside Hospital offers a comprehensive range of Pulmonary Diagnostic services, including but not limited to, Arterial Blood Gas (ABG), Full Pulmonary Function Test, Methacholine Challenge, and Exercise Oximetry. All procedures that are performed are interpreted by a board certified pulmonologist.
Provides respiratory care for patients in adult and/or neonatal care. Northside Hospital Forsyth employees may perform ECG, EEG, pulmonary function testing, & bronchoscopy.
Required: Graduation from an accredited respiratory care program with an Associate s degree or equivalent and RRT credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) by the American Heart Association. Maintains proficiency in arterial blood sampling techniques as prescribed by the hospital and/or JCAHO.
