SERVICE AREA OVERVIEW
Northside Hospital offers a comprehensive range of Pulmonary Diagnostic services, including but not limited to, Arterial Blood Gas (ABG), Full Pulmonary Function Test, Methacholine Challenge, and Exercise Oximetry. All procedures that are performed are interpreted by a board certified pulmonologist.
The Respiratory Therapist II provides respiratory care for patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Also performs the duties and responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist I for pediatric, adolescent adult and geriatric patients and Adult Intensive Care patients.
Graduation from an accredited respiratory care program with an Associates degree or equivalent. RRT certified with the National Board for Respiratory Care. One year hospital respiratory care experience. Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and neonatal resuscitation by the American Heart Association.
