The Respiratory Therapist II assesses patients, performs diagnostics, consults with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The Therapist also administers the prescribed therapy to patients based upon physician orders. This involves the care of the critical patient in the intensive care setting as well as the patient receiving routine therapy of all age groups. Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapist educational program. Must be knowledgeable in all phases of respiratory care equipment and procedures, especially in respiratory critical care. Current licensure by the state of Georgia required. Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) as recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP certification required. PALS certification preferred. Part Time 7p-7a
