Overview:
Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is an international, ISO 9001:2008 Certified, CMMI Level 3 Rated full service provider with more than 28 years experience in the Federal, military, and commercial marketplaces. SRI is looking for compassionate health care providers to provide in-home respite care for Active Duty Military Families who have a family member with a disability, a developmental need, or a chronic illness.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assists Exceptional Family Members (EFMs) with daily living skills such as bathing, feeding, toileting, lifting/positioning, and dressing
Provides supervision to ensure the safety of the EFM
Interacts positively and communicate effectively with the EFM, family members, and with other support staff members
Prepares written reports and documentation of the assigned EFM's needs and irregularities

Positions Available: Respite Care Provider 2, 3 and 4

Hourly Wage Rate for Fort Jackson, SC
Respite Care Provider 2: $13.47
Respite Care Provider 3: $14.76
Respite Care Provider 4: $22.77

Respite Care Provider 2:
Task and Responsibilities:
Performs the duties of the Level1 Respite Care Provider
Capable of successfully managing clients who may display behaviors which are difficult to manage including tantrums and noncompliance to instructions and requests while under their care

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and/or a combination of post-secondary education, skills and training of two or more years experience with special needs children, youth or adults
Plus the minimum requirements listed for all positions as noted below

Respite Care Provider 3:
Task and Responsibilities:
Performs the duties of a Level1 and Level 2 Respite Care Provider
Provides respite care for EFM s who have conditions such as, but not limited to, asthma, seizures, diabetes and those who need special assistance with food intake

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
A combination of post-secondary education and/or training and experience in nursing and/or early childhood education, special education, elementary education, or relevant field of study
Possession of technical knowledge, skills, experience, or training with special needs clients.
Related Associates or Bachelor s Degree preferred
Designation as LPN or related certifications preferred
Minimum of two years experience working with special needs children, youth or adults
Plus the minimum requirements listed for all positions as noted below

Respite Care Provider 4:
Task and Responsibilities:
Performs the duties of a Level 2, and Level 3 Respite Care Provider
Must have the necessary technical skills and abilities to meet the physical and safety conditions of the EFM and assist with conditions such as severe continuous seizure activity, tube feeding, suctioning of tracheotomy, and life threatening or chronic condition requiring frequent hospitalization or treatment encounters, which require extensive family involvement in care giving.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in a relevant field of study such as nursing, early childhood education, special education, and elementary education (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience)
Designation as RN or related certifications is strongly preferred
Minimum of 2-5 years experience working with special needs children, youth or adults
Plus the minimum requirements listed for all positions as noted below

Minimum Requirements for all Positions:
Must be 18 years of age
Must have current certifications in CPR and First Aid
Possess current Tuberculosis test
Must be able to pass criminal background checks
Must obtain favorable State Child Abuse Registry Check results
Must obtain favorable National Sex Offender Check results
Must obtain favorable Child Care National Agency Check with Inquiries (CNACI)
Must obtain favorable Installation Records Background Check results
Have reliable transportation to the EFM's home
The ability to assist in the moving, positioning, and/or lifting of children and/or adults of varying physical abilities
