Job Description

As a Food Server, you would be responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times Clean and set up tables Complete closing duties Provides standard directions to be provided to guests Other duties as assigned For you to be the ideal candidate, you should have the following: Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process Experience using Microsoft Office and general computer operations required. Prior experience with Micros preferred Must be able to multi-task and display ability to recognize that the guests' interests and needs are always primary Ability to exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects Ability to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel (ref. 9524)
