Department: Operations Reports to: General Manager Position Summary: The Shift Supervisor is responsible and accountable for all Front of the House operational aspects of the restaurant in partnership with all other areas of the operations. This position is unique in that it is accountable for the restaurants performance while also supporting the existing management team. Overall responsibilities include leadership of team members, guest satisfaction, and administrative tasks. Major Responsibilities: Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Manage operations including guest service and FOH staff while ensuring the restaurants standards of quality, service and operations are maintained Manage operations during scheduled shifts that include daily decision-making, team support, guest interaction, scheduling, planning, and upholding standards of quality, service & cleanliness Identify operational opportunities to build sales and control costs and assist in developing & implementing plans to address opportunities Maintain positive guest relations by delivering +1, increasing sales and brand awareness Prepare end of shift reports to monitor all financial, inventory and cash-handling aspects of the operations
